"Remun.+Car" is base remuneration plus car allowance only. It excludes benefits and expense reimbursements. Total compensation includes benefits and expenses.

Benchmark context (Statistics Canada average weekly earnings, B.C.): roughly $54,000 in 2019 to about $68,000 in 2025, about +$14,000 over six years. Harvie's and Kruger's base-pay dollar increases are more than double that benchmark. Guichon's is closer to it.
Metro Vancouver board seats (context only)
- 2023 to June 2024: George Harvie (also Metro Vancouver board chair) and Dylan Kruger
- July 2024 to present: Rod Binder and Dylan Kruger. Harvie was removed by a Delta Council vote on 6 May 2024, effective 1 July 2024.
Harvie's 2024 Metro Vancouver remuneration and expenses in the source material cover only the first half of the year, before removal. Binder's second-half 2024 and 2025 Metro Vancouver figures are not in the documents reviewed.
Why stop at 2025? Full-year 2026 numbers are not published until after year-end, usually the following spring in the Statement of Financial Information. The comparison uses each member's first complete year in the current term and the latest complete year available, 2025. Dollar and percentage changes are calculated from the official public schedules.
