Metro Vancouver: who actually holds the seat
Correction/update: Harvie is no longer a Metro Vancouver director or chair. On May 6, 2024, Delta Council voted to remove him from the MV board effective July 1, 2024. Councillors Rod Binder and Dylan Kruger have been Delta’s two MV directors from that date forward.
| Period | Delta’s Metro Vancouver Directors |
|---|---|
| 2023 – June 2024 | George Harvie (also MV Board Chair) + Dylan Kruger |
| July 2024 – present | Rod Binder + Dylan Kruger (Harvie removed) |
| Name | Delta Total (2025) | Metro Vancouver Total (2024) | MV Status Today |
|---|---|---|---|
| George Harvie | $218,653 | $92,705 (Jan–Jun 2024 only) | No longer an MV director |
| Dylan Kruger | $128,292 | $42,177 (full year) | Current MV director |
| Rod Binder | $105,455 | Not yet available in documents reviewed | Current MV director (since Jul 2024) |
Binder’s Metro Vancouver remuneration and expenses for the second half of 2024 and for 2025 are not reflected above — they would come from Metro Vancouver’s later disclosures, which are not yet in hand.
