This is not a candidate profile. It is a list of what Achieving For Delta (AFD) has put in public writing for the 2026 election, and what it has not published.

Announced slate
As of June 2026 public reporting. Nominations close September 11, 2026.

What the campaign website says
Delta Safe. Public safety; police and fire investment; “no call too small.”
Delta Sound. Taxes and user fees described as among the lowest in the Lower Mainland; long-term planning and “responsible spending.”
Delta Secure. Balanced planning; neighbourhoods, business, logistics, farmland; growth “on our own terms.”
Peace Arch News reported on September 4, 2026 that the site also lists freezing scheduled city fee increases in 2027 and keeping property-tax increases among the lowest in Metro Vancouver.
June 2026 launch list
- Healthcare and seniors supports; Delta Hospital ER; press the province on Beedie long-term care
- Second Ladner exit via the River Road overpass (Massey Tunnel project)
- Bus shelters on 112th Street, 116th Street, and Scott Road
- McAdam Road upgrades
- Falcons Grass Hockey Club field space
- Restore public question period
Those items are campaign priorities as reported. They are not, by themselves, a funded City capital plan.
North Delta rec centre: two files
December 2, 2024 minutes. Mayor Harvie, seconded by Councillor Dosanjh, moved a 2% recreation levy in 2026 and 2027 and $60 million borrowing in each of 2027 and 2028. Defeated. Opposed: Binder, Boisvert, Johal, Kruger. Council then passed the study motion unanimously.
2026 website. Peace Arch News could not find a 2026 AFD website pledge to impose a new rec-centre levy. AFD’s September 1, 2026 social posts pointed back to the 2024 amendment and said that after the defeat “there is no funding in place for the project.”
A defeated 2024 amendment is not a 2026 costed campaign budget. Fact sheet: A North Delta rec centre is being proposed.
What AFD has answered in writing to DCC Now
On the Bylaw 8330 delegation questions, AFD Campaign Management wrote on August 31, 2026 that the candidates “have chosen to respectfully excuse themselves from participating at this time.” That letter is published in full. Questions 1–5 were not answered.
