Bylaw 8330 questionnaire: what the slates sent back
On August 20, 2026, DCC Now sent the same five questions about delegation requests under Council Procedure Bylaw No. 8330 to Delta First, Achieving For Delta, and One Delta. Replies were requested by Friday, August 28, 2026. Every written reply is published in full. A missing answer is recorded as a missing answer. We do not rank candidates.
The five questions asked who, under the current bylaw, approves or refuses a request; what role staff or external counsel play; whether Council is told about refusals; and whether reasons should be public. The bylaw text is on our 8330 guide. Sections 13.4 and 13.10 name the Mayor as the approving authority.
