What Delta First Has Published for 2026

This is not a candidate profile. It is a list of what Delta First has put in public writing for the 2026 election, and what it has not published.

Announced slate

As of May 2026 public reporting. Nominations close September 11, 2026. No full school-trustee slate was in the lists reviewed here.

The site’s theme lines are Liveability, Affordability, and Accountability. In June, Delta First said a comprehensive platform would follow in September. As of this page, the detailed public document is the First 90 Days plan.

First 90 Days plan (published June 22, 2026)

Accountability

• Develop an enforceable Code of Conduct for elected officials
• End block voting on Council motions; encourage independent votes
• Restore public question period
• Repeal the delegation of development permits and variances to staff so those decisions return to Council

Liveability

• Public review of the Official Community Plan
• Review the Ladner Village Revitalization Plan
• Re-establish citizen advisory committees
• Legal review of provincial housing legislation as it applies to Delta
• Tree-protection bylaws and design standards for new housing
• Review police and fire resources against population growth

Affordability

• Zero-based budget review of City departments and Council’s own budget
• Clear public reporting on City finances
• Strategy to increase non-market and affordable housing
• Review municipal funding of external lobby organizations, including the Urban Development Institute

Those items are a first-90-days agenda. They are not a recreation-centre funding schedule.

North Delta rec centre

Delta First’s published 90-day page does not name a North Delta recreation centre, a levy, or a cost range. DCC Now will add that row if they publish one. City file: A North Delta rec centre is being proposed.

What Delta First has answered in writing to DCC Now

On the Bylaw 8330 questions, Melissa Granum wrote on August 21, 2026 that Delta First is “not currently involved in city council so we cannot answer your questions,” and offered to discuss the process if elected. Questions 1–5 were not answered. That email is published in full.
